Hansen, Linder, Dinsmore, Millberry Memorial Grove Bag Lunch Picnic
For the past year and a half some of our membership have been working to create and plant the Hansen, Linder, Dinsmore, Millberry Memorial Grove at the corner of 3rd and 4th streets in Lakeport. The land was donated to the city by Bob Millberry for the purpose of a native plant and wild flower walking park.

On May 6, 2008 the membership gathered at the park for a picnic and to view the progress. We were also there to view the redbud planted by the club in honor of Carol Kesey and the dogwood in honor of Jo and Jerry Shaul. Our President, Claire Grieve, planted forsythias in memory of her parents, and in honor of Bob Millbery, Carol Kesey, Jo and Jerry Shaul, and Jo Douville. Jo Douville planted a forsythia in honor of Claire. It was a beautiful day all around. The weather was perfect, the park looks great and a good time was had by all .
