We did it!! It is with both relief and happiness that I am writing this letter to thank and congratulate all of you on your participation. You made it possible for us to present the “Hidden Gardens of Lake County” Garden Tour. Co-chairs Susan Buckles and Debra O'Dell did a stand-up job of leading us in this endeavor. The core group was amazing in their dedication to the details.

We had visitors from Sonoma, Humboldt and Napa Counties as well as Sacramento and San Francisco. From the comments I received, tour participants were quite impressed with our area. It was a joy to see their delight in the gardens they viewed. All feedback from the garden walk was positive. The docents were happy, the tour participants were happy and we deserve to be proud of this event. With the success of our tour, we will be able to fulfill our obligations for scholarships and donations to the student gardens.

I deeply appreciate the efforts of our members who worked so hard to make this project successful. Enjoy your recognition and keep up the good work.
